I can not stress how grateful I am that I found out about this group through word of mouth. Since my son, now 10 years old, joined this group, he has attended every holiday session. Due to his diagnosis of Autism, he has struggled for years with social difficulties, but Fitcap have helped him overcome a few of these. He is praised for every activity he participates in, and isn't forced to do something he is uncomfortable with. They bring out the best in him. It has been almost 3 years since my son 1st joined this group and the staff have been great with him, they all take time to understand and help him in area's where he struggles.
This has had a great impact on us as a family, we are now slowly beginning to enjoy taking part in other activities outside of Fitcap as a family.
My son really looks forward to the next school holidays and spending time with Alison and her staff.
As a parent, it's a lovely feeling knowing that your child can take part in and enjoy lots of different activities, and it's also lovely to see him smile, and for this we are very thankful to Alison and all at Fitcap who make this happen.

F.I.T.C.A.P are a blessing. If it wasn't for the work that Alison, Julie and their team do there would be so many more kids hanging around on the streets. They always go above and beyond to makesure that there are things for the kids to do during the holidays. But also the amount of support that Alison gives to individuals and their family is astounding. Bigger companies and people with money need to take a leaf out of F.I.T.C.A.Ps book and pump money into F.I.T.C.A.P so that Alison and Julie can do so much than they already do. Thank you for all that you guys have done for the community and also for me and mine.

Hi Julie,

I just wanted to say thank you so much for organising your Us Girls group to come with us to the National Lottery Show yesterday. I hope you and your girls had a great time. Please pass on my thanks to those that came, and congratulate those that spoke as they were brilliant.

I know it was a challenge to organise, the filming company could be quite demanding at times and they made so many changes too. But it's testimony to you and your group that we still put on a great show despite this.

If you could send across any photos you have I will put them all together and share them with everyone.

Thank you again, your continued support of Us Girls.

Best wishes
Claire

Suffering from Aspergers makes socializing and therefore leading an active lifestyle very difficult, but @FITCAPCIC has provided me with an environment where I can feel a sense of comfort and familiarity among others who share my interest in fitness. Fitcap's work in bringing communities together, whilst encouraging active lifestyles has had a profound effect on my life! Not only are their events affordable but beyond entertaining and extremely rewarding. There's no greater feeling than physical refreshment paired with an improved sense of self confidence, and in an age clouded by the negative consequences of obesity, which are particularly problematic in the disadvantaged areas @FITCAPCIC caters for, it is clear their services are invaluable!

A positive, helpful and welcoming service such as @FITCAPCIC should be supported, not impended! Please, continue their funding.

Dear all,
Words cannot express enough, how humbled i was with all your support . I saw Julie working all day regarding the potatoes stand , helping with tug off war and other tasks, Lyn and Margret working endlessly in the kitchen providing us with that wonderful food, mo , Jeanne and john working with the children making badges and taking photos of the event and as for Alison and team, what can i say but the events and tasks and medals were just fantastic .. The community as a whole really do not know how lucky they are to have such wonderful people amongst them who give up their time to make this community a better place. Yesterday was just a start and with that in mind the weather and time of year we had a wonderful day and i really look forward to the summer when we continue this work with another event already discussed.

Many thanks
Subhas

Dear Alison/Julie
Thank you is not enough for what you two did yesterday from team games to food, music and even dealing with pony rides and DJ.
I am lost for words but, all said and done the team games and all the coaches were much appreciated by the public and hope you saw the police have a fun time in fun races and tug of war.
This community really does not know how luckey it is to has to have people like yourselves who work so well to support these type of events. i for one am already looking forward to 2013 summer for our next project.

Many thanks as always
Subhas.
